In fact, did you know that “The Big Apple” is a nickname for New York that was popularized by the Black jazz musicians who flocked here in the 1920s during the Jazz Age? It’s a piece of history that underscores the city’s enduring connection with Black culture. This is a pro-Black channel; it’s not anti-anybody. I love diversity and it’s one of the main reasons I continue to live in NYC. I value and appreciate every single person that supports this channel no matter who you are.
