Time to get our political gears turning in unison. That’s what it will to take for us to defeat the Republican menace trying to roll back civil rights, suppress our history, and generally f*ck up the country.
So I’m sharing some highlights from the STOP TRUMP SUMMIT that took place in NYC at Cooper Union the other day.
They had a full program of top thinkers and commentators coming together from diverse backgrounds for a strategizing session. I selected excerpts from four of my favorite speakers that day who represented Black voices at the summit, but all of the guests were excellent and I was happy to meet Michael Cohen and George Conway as well as Rev. Sharpton (check out the Community Page to see the pics) and Tara Setmayer, whose show The Breakdown on LPTV is something you should all check out. This sister used to be a Republican (!) but she’s now a warrior for democracy, putting country before party.
