Check out these highlights from the Biggie Smalls Birthday Block Party in Brooklyn, which was held on the street Saint James Place, the street in Bed-Stuy where The Notorious B.I.G. lived. There was artwork, food, live performances, roller skating, double dutch and all the beautiful energy that Black Brooklyn brings. Also in celebration of Biggie’s Birthday the MTA issued a limited number of Metro cards with Biggie’s portrait. They were only being sold in a few stations in Brooklyn so people were lining up and you’ll see some of that in this video too.
